Meet The Owner! From the brand's previous page at Seed Needs. I started Seed Needs at just 15 with the aim of bringing my family closer, retiring my father, employing friends, and most importantly, helping people. Visit the store for our popular items fresh for 2024! Who doesn't love flowers? At Seed Needs, we offer open-pollinated, heirloom favorites such as daisies, cosmos, zinnias, nasturtium, sunflowers, and more! We also provide a wide range of culinary and medicinal herb seeds, including basil, chives, cilantro, rosemary, lavender, and chamomile. Don't forget to check out our vegetable seeds, which include popular heirloom favorites like carrots, cabbage, lettuce, radish, tomatoes, kale, beets, turnips, and more!

Interested in how we started? Seed Needs initially began as a username for an online marketplace. However, in 2010, we discovered Amazon and decided to establish our own brand. Over the past decade, we have sold our products to millions of happy customers. What sets our products apart is our love for art. Not only do we provide quality seeds, but we also offer beautiful packaging that will put a smile on your face when you receive your order.

What I am most proud of is our ability to give back. With the success of Seed Needs, we have been able to grow our sponsorships from just one child to over 100 kids each month. It all started with Reina, the first child I sponsored in 2010. Now, Seed Needs sponsors over 100 children worldwide every month! Additionally, we continually donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital and ASPCA thanks to all who purchase our seeds.

Next, let's talk about our company and our mission for change. Seed Needs has been providing gardeners with quality seed products since 2010. We have shipped millions of packets to happy customers all over the US. Our product range includes flowers, herbs, vegetables, vines, wildflower blends, seed packet collections, and seed packet favors. Alongside our success, we have kept our promise to continually donate to different organizations and personally sponsor children all over the globe each month. We have grown our sponsorships from just one child to over 100 children worldwide in only a few years. We would like to sincerely thank all who support us because it wouldn't be possible without you!

Now, let's take a look at our seed packets. The front side features beautiful illustrations and provides information about the variety inside, including the common and scientific names, seed quantity, and some specifications about how to grow the variety. The reverse side contains full growing instructions, including details on sowing the seed, preferred growing conditions such as sunlight and moisture, and germination and growth information. We also provide a QR code for easy reordering.

When it comes to our seeds, quality is our priority. Our seeds are always non-GMO and untreated. They are stored in a temperature-controlled facility that is free of moisture. We package them for the current and following growing seasons. Our seeds are true to the advertised variety and are 99% pure with no added fillers. We never knowingly purchase treated seeds products, and we do not treat any of our seed products with substances such as neonicotinoid or thyram. Our seeds are always fresh and intended for the current and following growing seasons. They are packaged in water-resistant and tear-resistant packaging.

Let's focus on one of our popular flower varieties, the Wild Perennial Lupine. These gorgeous flowers, categorized as a perennial flowering plant, will grow to a mature height of 12 to 36 inches. They produce attractive blue-colored flowers atop green foliage. Wild Perennial Lupine is known to attract beneficial insects such as butterflies, bumblebees, hummingbirds, and honeybees. It's becoming increasingly popular in landscaping and can be used as a border plant, in flower beds, along fences and walkways, or in a naturalized setting. To grow Wild Perennial Lupine, soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours or scarify them with sandpaper or a knife. Start the seeds indoors before the last frost or directly outdoors when the weather is warm. They require full sunlight and poor, sandy soils for optimal growth. The seeds will germinate in 7 to 14 days and can be spaced 12 to 18 inches apart.

In conclusion, Seed Needs is committed to providing gardeners with high-quality seed products. We continually donate to various organizations and sponsor children worldwide every month. Our seed packets are beautifully illustrated and provide detailed information on growing the varieties. Our seeds are always non-GMO and untreated, stored in optimal conditions, and packaged for the current and following growing seasons. We take pride in offering fresh seeds that are true to the advertised variety. Thank you for choosing Seed Needs!
